Western Electric 74G Birds Tribute Loc R2-10
Western Electric 74G, set up tribute to a payphone in The Birds. The phone is equipped with an F handset, #5 dial and a 14B vault lock. Note the plastic shield over the 2 coil relay. The lower is marked with Gray and Western Electric, the back and upper are Gray cast iron parts and it is still equipped with it's original cast coin gauge. The 74G is a conversion from both a 5 cent phone and also 2 piece one to a 10 cent handset model.
